ReMix 2022 has ended
Welcome to ReMix 2022: Reflecting and Connecting which takes place virtually June 22-24. Spend the whole three days with us, or simply select one or two sessions to attend as you’re able. Join us as we grow a movement that inspires and empowers public servants to re-imagine our work now, and into the future!

How to register:
When in the schedule, hover over individual sessions that you are interested in attending and click "add to my schedule." This session will then be added to your personal ReMix schedule, and an email will be sent to your inbox.

Why we chose this theme
This year’s theme, reflecting and connecting, invites you to consider the impacts of living and working in an unpredictable, uncertain and sometimes volatile world. The questions some of these sessions explore include:
  • How do we tackle the new challenges we experience?
  • How do we make sense of it all and support each other in meaningful ways?
  • How do we transform complexity into opportunity?

How do you want to learn?
ReMix has been designed to appeal to all learners. Whether you’re more comfortable listening to a lecture, or you are energized by a workshop with breakout rooms, there are a variety of ways to participate in this experience. All of the sessions are clearly marked so there shouldn’t be any surprises!

Accessibility
All of our events will have live captioning. If you have additional accessibility requirements please let us know upon registration by emailing innovationhub@gov.bc.ca. Thank you!

Keep in touch
All ReMix attendees will be automatically added to our Innovation in the BCPS community on MS Teams, and signed up to receive Soundtrack, a monthly newsletter from the Innovation Hub.

Limited Capacity filling up

Organizations globally are trying to figure out the best way to bring employees back to the office, and the BC Public Service is no different. But - how can we be more purposeful about how we ask team members to spend their time when they are there? The pandemic has taught many of us that we are just as productive working from home and that there are many creative ways to interact and collaborate with our distributed teams. How, then, can we be more intentional about using time together in the office in ways we can’t otherwise do virtually? Are there ways to design our workplaces to better balance the in-office and virtual employee experiences and prioritize equity between them? These are the type of questions we are excited to explore in this participatory session and invite you join us and share your ideas for how to make our future workplaces a compelling destination for employees.
